MT. APO ITINERARY via New Israel, Makilala Trail (Aug. 18-23, 2009)
Route: New Israel, Makilala-Lake Macadac-Peak TRAVERSE Lake Venado-Lake Agco, Ilomavis, Kidapawan City.

Day 1 (Aug. 18 Tuesday)
0600H flight to Davao City, Marketing @ Kidapawan City, Registration @ Makilala, camp overnight @ Brgy.New Israel, Makilala

Day 2 (Aug. 19 Wednesday)
0400H wake up call, breakfast, packlunch, breakcamp
0600H start trek, uphill
1200H lunch @ Makalangit plains
1300H resume trek
1600H Mt. Zion peak
1800H Lake Macadac loghouse/campsite, camp overnight

Day 3 (Aug. 20 Thursday)
0600H wakeup call, breakfast, packlunch, breakcamp
0900H start trek assault Mt.Apo peak uphill opentrail
1200H lunch along the trail, summit Mt.Apo,
1300H freetime, explore the peak, secure watersource, set up camp overnight
1700H sunset at the peak

Day 4 (Aug. 21 Friday)
0500H wake up call, sunrise at the peak, breakfast, breakcamp
0800H start trek downhill opentrail
1100H lunch at lake venado,
1300H resume trek downhill (4hrs)
1700H Koong Creek campsite, set up camp overnight

Day 5 (Aug. 22 Saturday)
0600H wake up call, breakfast, packlunch, breakcamp
0800H start trek downhill (4hrs)
1200H lunch at Lake Agko resort, dip in relaxing Hot Spring, secure transpo back to kidapawan city
1500H Kidapawan City, camp overnite @ PEPS country bar OR travel to Davao City for besperas Kadayawan Festival, rendezvous with Mikel

Day 6 (Aug. 23 Sunday)
10:40H 1st batch and 1700H 2nd batch flight back to Cebu City
